It is like eating an elephant small bits at a time having stops every 2-3 hours

Well that's it then end of ace 8 days of pain and laughs.

Special thanks to the Omnipotent one who protected us from our landlords in Tain. Does moving from yorkshire to scotland make you any tighter?

And the chicken risotto in the Number 1 restaurant in Wick

A long great day with some difficult climbs out of helms deep or something like that. A
It was a really hard climb and I must acknowlede the comments of others. It was a toughy then mother nature threw everything
(Apart from cold weather or extreme wind condition apart from Rich 1st thing in the morning oh hang on yes Simon saw a water spout so I guess that is an extreme
Condition. I should mention the hardship faced by our directeur sportif Simon who had to put the wipers full on at one point!

d7 one day left

Well I ve never been so far north in Britain I ve got a nose bleed.
Bridge at cromarty and the firth was spectacular you forget that the oil industry is this far north until you see the rigs in the bay
Still don t know where all the cars are going



A great fast end to the day tail wind and 25mph for about30 miles

A wonderful B+B but the proprietor is as mad as a box of frogs- in the nicest possible way.
Less than 100 miles to go!

Day 7

Rather tired early start out of Pitlochry steady climb to Drumochter 462m pass on the national cycle trail better than the A9.
Tea stop in Dalwihnne very NICE 90 to go :-)

After some more Mel Royles cycle route back on A9 flew along in the Rich Mills express to Aviemore temp gone from 8 to. Higher teens leg and arm warmersw away.

Hoots mon can feel the need to add a couple of ooo's intooo alll of my wOooorrrds hoots mon

A great run down to Inverness a young lady was very helpful with directions to Morrisons unfortunately the meeting place
Had changed back to the A9.

Any geographers out there can they ecplain where all the. A9 North traffic is going after Inverness?
There's only the sea!
